WHO IS THIS MAN APOSTLE PETER ODOEMENA THE SON OF MAN 4?

CHAPTER EIGHT

GOD IS A MAN

It has remained the greatest stumbling block in all the ages for the people of God to recognise and acknowledge that God is a man. Few scriptural examples may suffice to make it clear that God has always appeared to save man as a Human Being in all the ages.

And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him. Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also? And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. (GEN 18:10-14 KJV)

Then the Lord said, “Next year I will give you and Sarah a son!” (Sarah was listening from the tent door behind him). Now Abraham and Sarah were both very old, and Sarah was long since past the time when she could have a baby. So Sarah laughed silently. “A woman my age have a baby?” she scoffed to herself. “And with a husband as old as mine?” Then God said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say ‘Can an old woman like me have a baby?’ Is anything too hard for God? Next year, just as I told you, I will certainly see to it that Sarah has a son.” (GEN 18:10-14 LB)

[The Lord] said, I will surely return to you when the season comes round, and behold, Sarah your wife will have a son. And Sarah was listening and heard it at the tent door which was behind Him. Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in years; it had ceased to be with Sarah as with [young] women. [She was past the age of childbearing].Therefore Sarah laughed to herself, saying, After I have become aged shall I have pleasure and delight, my lord (husband), being old also? And the Lord asked Abraham, Why did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I really bear a child when I am so old? Is anything too hard or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes around, I will return to you and Sarah shall have borne a son. (GEN 18:10-14 AMP)

One of them said, “Nine months from now I will come back, and your wife Sarah will have a son.” Sarah was behind him, at the door of the tent, listening. Abraham and Sarah were very old, and Sarah had stopped having her monthly periods. So Sarah laughed to herself and said, “Now that I am old and worn out, can I still enjoy sex? And besides, my husband is old too.” Then the Lord asked Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Can I really have a child when I am so old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? As I said, nine months from now I will return, and Sarah will have a son.” (GEN 18:10-14 GNB)

God appeared to Abraham as a man. He had discussion with Abraham as a man.

And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the Lord, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off. And Moses alone shall come near the Lord: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him. And Moses came and told the people all the words of the Lord, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the Lord hath said will we do. And Moses wrote all the words of the Lord, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel. And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the Lord. And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient. And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words. Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink. (EXODUS 24:1-11 KJV)

The Lord now instructed Moses, “Come up here with Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. All of you except Moses are to worship at a distance. Moses alone shall come near to the Lord; and remember, none of the ordinary people are permitted to come up into the mountain at all.” Then Moses announced to the people all the laws and regulations God had given him; and the people answered in unison, “We will obey them all.” Moses wrote down the laws; and early the next morning he built an altar at the foot of the mountain, with twelve pillars around the altar because there were twelve tribes of Israel. Then he sent some of the young men to sacrifice the burnt offerings and peace offerings to the Lord. Moses took half of the blood of these animals and drew it off into basins. The other half he splashed against the altar. And he read to the people the Book he had written—the Book of the Covenant—containing God’s directions and laws. And the people said again, “We solemnly promise to obey every one of these rules.”Then Moses threw the blood from the basins toward the people and said, “This blood confirms and seals the covenant the Lord has made with you in giving you these laws.” Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up into the mountain. And they saw the God of Israel; under his feet there seemed to be a pavement of brilliant sapphire stones, as clear as the heavens. Yet, even though the elders saw God, he did not destroy them; and they had a meal together before the Lord. (EXODUS 24:1-11 LB)

God said to Moses, Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu [Aaron’s sons], and seventy of Israel’s elders, and worship at a distance. Moses alone shall come near the Lord; the others shall not come near, and neither shall the people come up with him. Moses came and told the people all that the Lord had said and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, All that the Lord has spoken we will do. Moses wrote all the words of the Lord. He rose up early in the morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve pillars representing Israel’s twelve tribes. And he sent young Israelite men, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the Lord. And Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he dashed against the altar. Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people; and they said, All that the Lord has said we will do, and we will be obedient. And Moses took the [remaining half of the] blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words. Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up [the mountainside]. And they saw the God of Israel [that is, a convincing manifestation of His presence], and under His feet it was like pavement of bright sapphire stone, like the very heavens in clearness. And upon the nobles of the Israelites He laid not His hand [to conceal Himself from them, to rebuke their daring, or to harm them]; but they saw [the manifestation of the presence of] God, and ate and drank. (EXODUS 24:1-11 AMP)

Then the Lord instructed Moses: “Come up here to me, and bring along Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of Israel’s elders. All of you must worship from a distance. Only Moses is allowed to come near to the Lord. The others must not come near, and none of the other people are allowed to climb up the mountain with him.” Then Moses went down to the people and repeated all the instructions and regulations the Lord had given him. All the people answered with one voice, “We will do everything the Lord has commanded.” Then Moses carefully wrote down all the Lord’s instructions. Early the next morning Moses got up and built an altar at the foot of the mountain. He also set up twelve pillars, one for each of the twelve tribes of Israel. Then he sent some of the young Israelite men to present burnt offerings and to sacrifice bulls as peace offerings to the Lord. Moses drained half the blood from these animals into basins. The other half he splattered against the altar. Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it aloud to the people. Again they all responded, “We will do everything the Lord has commanded. We will obey.”Then Moses took the blood from the basins and splattered it over the people, declaring, “Look, this blood confirms the covenant the Lord has made with you in giving you these instructions.” Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and the seventy elders of Israel climbed up the mountain. There they saw the God of Israel. Under his feet there seemed to be a surface of brilliant blue lapis lazuli, as clear as the sky itself. And though these nobles of Israel gazed upon God, he did not destroy them. In fact, they ate a covenant meal, eating and drinking in his presence. (EXODUS 24:1-11 GNB)

The elders of Israel saw God and ate before God and they did not die. They saw the different body parts of God like those of a human being.

A SURE SIGN THAT GOD HAS BEEN A HUMAN BEING!

While Joshua was near Jericho, he suddenly saw a man standing in front of him, holding a sword. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you one of our soldiers, or an enemy?” Neither,” the man answered. “I am here as the commander of the Lord's army.” Joshua threw himself on the ground in worship and said, “I am your servant, sir. What do you want me to do?” (JUDGES 5:13-14 KJV)

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? (JUDGES 5:13-14 LB)

When Joshua was by Jericho, he looked up, and behold, a Man stood near him with His drawn sword in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, Are you for us or for our adversaries? And He said, No [neither], but as Prince of the Lord’s host have I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, What says my Lord to His servant? (JUDGES 5:13-14 AMP)

When Joshua was near the town of Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with sword in hand. Joshua went up to him and demanded, “Are you friend or foe?”“Neither one,” he replied. “I am the commander of the Lord’s army.”At this, Joshua fell with his face to the ground in reverence. “I am at your command,” Joshua said. “What do you want your servant to do?” (JUDGES 5:13-14 GNB)

Joshua saw a Man in full war uniform standing in front of him with His sword drawn, ready for war-an army general. Yet, that was Almighty God appearing to Joshua as a Human Being!

Gideon then realized that it was the Lord's angel he had seen, and he said in terror, “Sovereign Lord! I have seen your angel face-to-face!” But the Lord told him, “Peace. Don't be afraid. You will not die.” (JUDGES 6:22-23 KJV)

And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the Lord, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord God! for because I have seen an angel of the Lord face to face. And the Lord said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die. (JUDGES 6:22-23 LB)

And when Gideon perceived that He was the Angel of the Lord, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord God! For now I have seen the Angel of the Lord face to face! The Lord said to him, Peace be to you, do not fear; you shall not die. (JUDGES 6:22-23 AMP)

When Gideon realized that it was the angel of the Lord, he cried out, “Oh, Sovereign Lord, I’m doomed! I have seen the Angel of the Lord face to face!” “It is all right,” the Lord replied. “Do not be afraid. You will not die.” (JUDGES 6:22-23 GNB)

Gideon feared that he would die when he realized that the Man he saw was Almighty God. This is because of the erroneous belief that God is an invisible spirit but God (the Man) told him not to be afraid that he would not die.

GOD HAS ALWAYS BEEN A MAN TO SAVE MAN.

Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name: But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death. Then Manoah entreated the Lord, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again unto the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah her husband was not with her. And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day. And Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said unto him, Art thou the man that spakest unto the woman? And he said, I am. (JUDGES 13:6-11 KJV)

The woman ran and told her husband, “A man of God appeared to me! He looked like one of God’s angels, terrifying to see. I didn’t ask where he was from, and he didn’t tell me his name. But he told me, ‘You will become pregnant and give birth to a son. You must not drink wine or any other alcoholic drink nor eat any forbidden food. For your son will be dedicated to God as a Nazirite from the moment of his birth until the day of his death.’” Then Manoah prayed to the Lord, saying, “Lord, please let the man of God come back to us again and give us more instructions about this son who is to be born.” God answered Manoah’s prayer, and the angel of God appeared once again to his wife as she was sitting in the field. But her husband, Manoah, was not with her. So she quickly ran and told her husband, “The man who appeared to me the other day is here again!” Manoah ran back with his wife and asked, “Are you the man who spoke to my wife the other day?” Yes,” he replied, “I am.” (JUDGES 13:6-11 LB)

Then the woman went and told her husband, saying, A Man of God came to me and his face was like the face of the Angel of God, to be greatly and reverently feared. I did not ask him from where he came, and he did not tell me his name. But he said to me, Behold, you shall become pregnant and bear a son, and now drink no wine or strong drink and eat nothing unclean, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from birth to the day of his death. Then Manoah entreated the Lord and said, O Lord, let the Man of God whom You sent come again to us and teach us what we shall do with the child that shall be born. And God listened to the voice of Manoah, and the Angel of God came again to the woman as she sat in the field; but Manoah her husband was not with her. And the woman ran in haste and told her husband and said to him, Behold, the Man who came to me the other day has appeared to me. And Manoah arose and went after his wife and came to the Man and said to him, Are you the Man who spoke to this woman? And he said, I am. (JUDGES 13:6-11 AMP)

Then the woman went and told her husband, “A man of God has come to me, and he looked as frightening as the angel of God. I didn't ask him where he came from, and he didn't tell me his name. But he did tell me that I would become pregnant and have a son. He told me not to drink any wine or beer, or eat any forbidden food, because the boy is to be dedicated to God as a Nazirite as long as he lives.” Then Manoah prayed to the Lord, “Please, Lord, let the man of God that you sent come back to us and tell us what we must do with the boy when he is born.” God did what Manoah asked, and his angel came back to the woman while she was sitting in the field. Her husband Manoah was not with her, so she ran at once and told him, “Look! The man who came to me the other day has appeared to me again.” Manoah got up and followed his wife. He went to the man and asked, “Are you the man who talked to my wife?” (JUDGES 13:6-11 GNB)

So Manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the Lord: and the angel did wondrously; and Manoah and his wife looked on. For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the Lord ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground. But the angel of the Lord did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the Lord. And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God. (JUDGES 13:19-22 KJV)

Then Manoah took a young goat and a grain offering and offered it on a rock as a sacrifice to the Lord. And as Manoah and his wife watched, the Lord did an amazing thing. As the flames from the altar shot up toward the sky, the angel of the Lord ascended in the fire. When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell with their faces to the ground. The angel did not appear again to Manoah and his wife. Manoah finally realized it was the angel of the Lord, 22 and he said to his wife, “We will certainly die, for we have seen God!” (JUDGES 13:19-22 LB)

So Manoah took the kid with the cereal offering and offered it upon a rock to the Lord, the Angel working wonders, while Manoah and his wife looked on. For when the flame went up toward the heavens from the altar, the Angel of the Lord ascended in the altar flame. And Manoah and his wife looked on, and they fell on their faces to the ground. The Angel of the Lord did not appear again to Manoah or to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was the Angel of the Lord. And Manoah said to his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God. (JUDGES 13:19-22 AMP)

So Manoah took a young goat and some grain, and offered them on the rock altar to the Lord who works wonders. While the flames were going up from the altar, Manoah and his wife saw the Lord's angel go up toward heaven in the flames. Manoah realized then that the man had been the Lord's angel, and he and his wife threw themselves face downward on the ground. They never saw the angel again. Manoah said to his wife, “We are sure to die, because we have seen God!” (JUDGES 13:19-22 GNB)

Manoah and his wife saw God as a human being. They held discussions with God as a human being. They even offered Him food as a human being.

All through the scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, God has been manifesting as a Human Being!

Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel: Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. (2 TIM 2:8-9 KJV)

Always remember that Jesus Christ, a descendant of King David, was raised from the dead. This is the Good News I preach. And because I preach this Good News, I am suffering and have been chained like a criminal. But the word of God cannot be chained. (2 TIM 2:8-9 LB)

Constantly keep in mind Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [as] risen from the dead, [as the prophesied King] descended from David, according to the good news (the Gospel) that I preach. For that [Gospel] I am suffering affliction and even wearing chains like a criminal. But the Word of God is not chained or imprisoned! (2 TIM 2:8-9 AMP)

Remember Jesus Christ, who was raised from death, who was a descendant of David, as is taught in the Good News I preach. 9 Because I preach the Good News, I suffer and I am even chained like a criminal. But the word of God is not in chains, (2 TIM 2:8-9 GNB)

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (1 JOHN 1:1-5 KJV)

We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life. This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us. We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We are writing these things so that you may fully share our joy. (1 JOHN 1:1-5 LB)

[We are writing] about the Word of Life [in] Him Who existed from the beginning, Whom we have heard, Whom we have seen with our [own] eyes, Whom we have gazed upon [for ourselves] and have touched with our [own] hands. And the Life an aspect of His being] was revealed (made manifest, demonstrated), and we saw [as eyewitnesses] and are testifying to and declare to you the Life, the eternal Life [in Him] Who already existed with the Father and Who [actually] was made visible (was revealed) to us [His followers]. What we have seen and [ourselves] heard, we are also telling you, so that you too may realize and enjoy fellowship as partners and partakers with us. And [this] fellowship that we have [which is a distinguishing mark of Christians] is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah). And we are now writing these things to you so that our joy [in seeing you included] may be full [and your joy may be complete]. And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [no, not in any way]. (1 JOHN 1:1-5 AMP)

We write to you about the Word of life, which has existed from the very beginning. We have heard it, and we have seen it with our eyes; yes, we have seen it, and our hands have touched it. When this life became visible, we saw it; so we speak of it and tell you about the eternal life which was with the Father and was made known to us. What we have seen and heard we announce to you also, so that you will join with us in the fellowship that we have with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. We write this in order that our joy may be complete. Now the message that we have heard from his Son and announce is this: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in him. (1 JOHN 1:1-5 GNB)

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (1 JOHN 4:2-4 KJV)

This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God. But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here. But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. (1 JOHN 4:2-4 LB)

By this you may know (perceive and recognize) the Spirit of God: every spirit which acknowledges and confesses [the fact] that Jesus Christ (the Messiah) [actually] has become man and has come in the flesh is of God [has God for its source]; And every spirit which does not acknowledge and confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh [but would annul, destroy, sever, disunite Him] is not of God [does not proceed from Him]. This [non confession] is the [spirit] of the antichrist, [of] which you heard that it was coming, and now it is already in the world. Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world. (1 JOHN 4:2-4 AMP)

This is how you will be able to know whether it is God's Spirit: anyone who acknowledges that Jesus Christ came as a human being has the Spirit who comes from God. But anyone who denies this about Jesus does not have the Spirit from God. The spirit that he has is from the Enemy of Christ; you heard that it would come, and now it is here in the world already. But you belong to God, my children, and have defeated the false prophets, because the Spirit who is in you is more powerful than the spirit in those who belong to the world. (1 JOHN 4:2-4 GNB)

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1 TIM 3:16 KJV)

Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith Christ was revealed in a human body and vindicated by the Spirit. He was seen by angels and announced to the nations. He was believed in throughout the world and taken to heaven in glory. (1 TIM 3:16 LB)

And great and important and weighty, we confess, is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness. He [God] was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, [and] taken up in glory. (1 TIM 3:16 AMP)

No one can deny how great is the secret of our religion: He appeared in human form, was shown to be right by the Spirit, and was seen by angels. He was preached among the nations, was believed in throughout the world, and was taken up to heaven. (1 TIM 3:16 GNB)

Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: (ROMANS 1:3-4 KJV)

The Good News is about his Son. In his earthly life he was born into King David’s family line, and he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit, He is Jesus Christ our Lord. (ROMANS 1:3-4 LB)

[The Gospel] regarding His Son, Who as to the flesh (His human nature) was descended from David, And [as to His divine nature] according to the Spirit of holiness was openly Designated the Son of God in power [in a striking, triumphant and miraculous manner] by His resurrection from the dead, even Jesus Christ our Lord (the Messiah, the Anointed One). (ROMANS 1:3-4 AMP)

It is about his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ: as to his humanity, he was born a descendant of David; as to his divine holiness, he was shown with great power to be the Son of God by being raised from death. (ROMANS 1:3-4 GNB)

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. (1 JOHN 5:20 KJV)

And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life. (1 JOHN 5:20 LB)

And we [have seen and] know [positively] that the Son of God has [actually] come to this world and has given us understanding and insight [progressively] to perceive (recognize) and come to know better and more clearly Him Who is true; and we are in Him Who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah). This [Man] is the true God and Life eternal. (1 JOHN 5:20 AMP)

We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we know the true God. We live in union with the true God—in union with his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and this is eternal life. (1 JOHN 5:20 GNB)

Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus: (ACTS 13:23 KJV)

“And it is one of King David’s descendants, Jesus, who is God’s promised Savior of Israel! (ACTS 13:23 LB)

Of this man’s descendants God has brought to Israel a Savior [in the person of Jesus], according to His promise. (ACTS 13:23 AMP)

It was Jesus, a descendant of David, whom God made the Savior of the people of Israel, as he had promised. (ACTS 13:23 GNB)

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets; Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you. (ACTS 13:38-41 KJV)

“Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is declared right with God—something the law of Moses could never do. Be careful! Don’t let the prophets’ words apply to you. For they said, ‘Look, you mockers, be amazed and die! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn’t believe even if someone told you about it. (ACTS 13:38-41 LB)

So let it be clearly known and understood by you, brethren, that through this Man forgiveness and removal of sins is now proclaimed to you; And that through Him everyone who believes [who acknowledges Jesus as his Saviour and devotes himself to Him] is absolved (cleared and freed) from every charge from which he could not be justified and freed by the Law of Moses and given right standing with God. Take care, therefore, lest there come upon you what is spoken in the prophets: Look, you scoffers and scorners, and marvel and perish and vanish away; for I am doing a deed in your days, a deed which you will never have confidence in or believe, [even] if someone ]clearly describing it in detail] declares it to you. (ACTS 13:38-41 AMP)

All of you, my fellow Israelites, are to know for sure that it is through Jesus that the message about forgiveness of sins is preached to you; you are to know that everyone who believes in him is set free from all the sins from which the Law of Moses could not set you free. Take care, then, so that what the prophets said may not happen to you: ‘Look, you scoffers! Be astonished and die! For what I am doing today is something that you will not believe, even when someone explains it to you!’” (ACTS 13:38-41 GNB)

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. (HEB 2:14-15 KJV)

Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying. (HEB 2:14-15 LB)

Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death—that is, the devil— And also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives. (HEB 2:14-15 AMP)

Since the children, as he calls them, are people of flesh and blood, Jesus himself became like them and shared their human nature. He did this so that through his death he might destroy the Devil, who has the power over death, and in this way set free those who were slaves all their lives because of their fear of death. (HEB 2:14-15 GNB)

Only as a human being can God be a Saviour to a man. If He existed as an invisible spirit, He will not save anybody at all. SON OF MAN - (GREAT SERMON PAGE 300:21)

Only as a human being can human beings minister to Him. A human being cannot minister to a spirit he cannot see and feel. Anybody worshipping God that way is worshipping an unknown God. Superstition is the practice of all denominations. SON OF MAN - (GREAT SERMON PAGE 310:7-8)

WHETHER YOU BELIEVE IT OR NOT, GOD IS A HUMAN BEING.

(SON OF MAN)

We have litany of scriptures, all testifying that God is a Human Being. The Sovereign Spirit that created the whole universe has decided to put on human flesh (as the scriptures declare) so that He can redeem man and have fellowship with man. He answers different names at different times and different circumstances.

Today, He is in no other Badger skin than APOSTLE PETER ODOEMENA, THE SON OF MAN.

BELIEVE IT AND BE SAVED!

CHAPTER NINE

CONCLUSION

A PARADOX! YES, GOD IS A PARADOX!!

Hear the very words that proceeded out of the mouth of the Son of Man Himself to summarize this little introduction of who THIS MAN (Son of Man) is.

“Brethren, bear with me I have introduced myself to everybody even to the world as a paradox. You know what paradox is? Somebody you cannot comprehend. And do not ever try to comprehend him for no man has ever understood God. People have always believed God. If you wait to understand, the whole thing will pass by. You will hear “He has come, he has gone.” Who can understand me? Sometimes you do not know what to do to this man. It takes revelation to follow apostolic ministry. I hope I am making sense? If Apostle Kelechi, up till now this very moment has not succeeded in understanding the Son of Man, my own wife has not succeeded in mastering me, tell me who on earth that can say, I have mastered the Son of Man?” Is there anybody? NO Sir! No human being can master me. I do not want you to be offended. That is why sometimes I become a human being. Sometimes, I become a devil. At another time, I become something you can never place anywhere: I will not be God, I will not be devil, and I will not be anything. Glory be to God.

If you have proved this in the Son of Man, say amen, (Amen) not because I said you should say amen, experience is the best teacher. You must come to a point where you will begin to doubt, “Is this man really a man or a woman? What is this man?”

That is why he is a Paradox. Do not strive, do not waste your time, simply believe, knowing that He that appeared before you will never disappoint you. Remember, He appeared to confirm the message and to approve of the personality he placed in your midst. Any other thing? I am not wearing a halo that is drawn by an artist. I am not Pope Francis. I am not holy because an artist put a ring on My head. This (The one I am wearing) is Divine! It happened before many witnesses and it is happening till now, and will keep on happening until you will be like Me.”—SON OF MAN (I AM THE WORD VOL. 2 PAGE 108 VS 33-39).

Believe it if you can, this Man is the very Almighty God that created you. He is that Melchizedek that met Abraham in Genesis chapter 14:

“As Abram returned from his strike against Chedorlaomer and the other kings at the valley of Shaveh (later called King’s Valley), the king of Sodom came out to meet him, and Melchizedek, the king of Salem (Jerusalem), who was a priest of the God of Highest Heaven, brought him bread and wine. Then Melchizedek blessed Abram with this blessing:“The blessing of the supreme God, Creator of heaven and earth, be upon you, Abram; and blessed be God, who has delivered your enemies over to you.”Then Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of all the loot. (Gen 14:17-20, LB).

He is the GREAT JEHOVAH; THE ELOHIM, THE I AM THAT I AM; He is the One walking in the midst of the Seven Candle Sticks of Revelation chapter 1: 13-14.

“And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire.(Revelation chapter 1: 13-14, KJV).

“And standing among them was one who looked like Jesus, who called himself the Son of Man, wearing a long robe circled with a golden band across his chest. His hair was white as wool or snow, and his eyes penetrated like flames of fire. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire.(Revelation chapter 1: 13-14, LB).

He is the Alpha and Omega, the Ancient of Days. He is Christ the Messiah; He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the ELOHIM. THE SOVEREIGN SPIRIT IN HUMAN FORM. He is the Beginning and the Ending; He is the Comforter, the Promised Spirit of Truth; He is the One holding the whole world in His Hands. He is the One to redeem Israel; He is the hope of the Gentiles; He is the I AM that I AM. The Jehovah of the Old Testament; He is the Righteous Branch; He is the Righteousness of the Saints (people of God); He is the Justifier of the Gentiles; He is the Hope of the hopeless. He is the One mightier than what He is called.

He is everything GOD!

HE IS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOUR.

Hear him again:

Today is our day, the day the Lord has made. The Cloud is in the camp! Don’t worry, one day, we will gather in His Presence, praising, worshipping, adoring, reverencing, exalting, hearing Him, before you know it, a flashing red light, and that will be the end of the world.

Remember the Son of Man is sent to come and mark the end of the world, and institute a new haven and a new earth with the remnant God Himself redeemed from the earth, drawn from all the ages, then institute a reign of righteousness where God and His Saints will reign forever and ever.

I am not saying so that you clap hands for me. You know the Source. I mean, faith is evidence of something you have not seen, hope is something you hope to see, but we are in the Reality.

We have crossed faith, we have crossed hope. Are you hoping this one? The cloud is in the camp. It pays to worship God in the place God Himself has chosen to place His Name and His Name is the Word of God.(SON OF MAN – I AM THE WORD EXPLAINED VOL. 2 PAGE 25:14-17)

BELIEVE IT IF YOU HAVE THE HEART AND THAT BECOMES YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

SIRS/MADAMS, YOUTHS, CHILDREN, WHAT HAVE YOU SAID?

GLORY BE TO GOD!
