“God, who at sundry times and in diverse manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds” (Heb. 1:1-2, KJV)
True people of God have always acknowledged the fact that God speaks to His people in diverse manners through His appointed vessels in every generation. One of the ways in which God speaks to His people is through writing. Yes God writes…
“And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and the other were they written. And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables” (Exo. 32:15-16, KJV).
“And He gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon Mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God” (Exo. 31:18, KJV).
It was God Himself that wrote on the wall to Belshazzar king of Babylon when God passed judgment upon him. “In the same hour came forth finger of a man's hand and wrote over against the candle stick upon the plaster of the wall of the kings palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote” (Daniel 5:5, KJV).
When God became a human being in the person of Jesus Christ, He wrote on the ground to the astonishment of the Jews who brought an adulterous woman before Christ.“So when they continued asking Him, He lifted up Himself and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again He stooped, and wrote on the ground” (John 7:15, KJV). “And the Jews marveled, saying, how knoweth this man letters having never learned” (John 7:15, KJV)
God knows how to write and as well speak to people through writing. Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself passed some of His messages to various Churches through writing. “I was in the spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, and as a trumpet, saying, I am Alpha and Omega the First and the Last; and what thou seest, write in a book and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia and unto Laodicea” (Rev 1:10-11, KJV)
Even the Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ in the same manner conveyed many of their messages to various individuals and Churches through writings or epistles. “This second epistle beloved, I now write unto you: in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance (2Pet.3:1, KJV). I write unto you, little children because your sins are forgiven you for His name sake. I write unto you fathers because ye have known Him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you; little children, because ye have known the father” (1John 2:12-13, KJV).
Men of God who are fully aware of the authenticity of their messages from God had always longed for their words to be written in a book for preservation. “Oh that my words were now written! Oh that they were printed in a book! That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock forever” (Job 19:23-24, KJV)
Servants of God know that preserved words of God, whether spoken or written, are life and a guide to the believer who receives them. “It is the spirit that quickineth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life” (John 6:63, KJV).
It is the realization of this fact that prompts children of God to uphold every word of God through His vindicated servants very seriously. Whether spoken or written word, true elect of God welcome their words as the very word of God and not as words of mere men.
“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe” (1Thess. 2:13, KJV).
It is because of this fact that true servants of God do not write down their own minds but the mind of God on every matter. That is why they speak authoritatively concerning their writing.“And if any man obeys not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed” (2Thess 3:14. KJV).
Now, one can clearly see without controversy or contradiction that God passes His message across to His people through spoken and written words so that people of God can learn from them. “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope” (Rom 15:4, KJV). It is these written words that make up the very word of God which people of God study in order to know what God said on various matters both in previous and present generations. Something must be written down before someone could study from it. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2Tim 2:15, KJV).
“Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine” (1Tim 4:13, KJV).
Things we read today in the Holy Bible are the inspired written words of God through vindicated servants of God like Moses, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Jesus, peter, Paul, James, Jude, John, etc. People of God study those messages from the servants of God as the very word of God because they were inspired of God.
Almighty God is still the same in the way through which He speaks to His people, He is still the same in the way through which He governs the affairs of His Church where the mind of God is revealed to His saints through vindicated Prophets and Apostles. Anybody worshiping God where there is no vindicated Prophet or Apostle from God is worshiping God in blindness and can hardly know the will of God concerning any matter around him “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem. Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe His Prophets, so shall ye prosper” (2Chro 20:20, KJV). “Now therefore, ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the Chief Corner Stone” (Eph 2:19-20, KJV)
God's will or mind to His people is revealed through His Prophets and Apostles because they are vested with authority from God to express the mind of God whether written or unwritten.
WE HAVE A MAN!
“Philip findeth Nathaniel, and saith unto him, we have found Him, of whom Moses in the Law, and the Prophets did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. And Nathaniel saith unto him, can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, come and see” (John 1:45-46 KJV).
The consolation of the people of God in every dispensation is complete only when they find a man from God who can save them from their plights and guide them safely throughout their life here on earth. A man that can reveal the mind of God to them. A man whose ministry can be traced back to the Holy Scriptures.
With every boldness and gladness of heart, we thank Almighty God for sending His servant and our brother Peter Odoemena unto His Church in these last days with every scriptural vindication as a man sent from God to guide the Bride of Christ back to immortality.
We have witnessed to the whole world concerning this man's ministry and we know only the elect of God will acknowledge Him to have come from God at present, but a non-elect will acknowledge Him when it will be too late. Should any one be interested to read more of our testimonies concerning this man's ministry, please read our publication ‘ Cry Out Against The System’, pages 94-105; ‘Hard Truth’, pages 131-135; ‘The Last Trumpet’, back pages 1-15. If anyone reads these books prayerfully with a sincere heart, such a person will surely believe that the Church of Acts is back on the land and such a person will not be surprised to read some of His Epistles in this compilation as the same Epistles compiled in the Holy Bible from Moses, Jeremiah, Paul, Peter, John, etc, who were vindicated men of God in their days.
One should bear in mind that it was the death of the last genuine vindicated Apostle of God or God sent man on the land about 325 A.D. that contributed to the rampant outgrowth of apostasy as witnessed in the last centuries among various religious groups. Apostles, like every God sent man, contribute much to the orderliness and perfection of God's Church both in life, conduct and doctrine. They stay true to the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ because they occupy the position of the Lord Himself here on earth. God Himself ordained them into such ministry even before they are born out of their mother's wombs.
“Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee and I ordained thee a Prophet unto the nations” (Jer. 1:4-5, KJV). “For the gift and calling of God are without repentance” (Rom 11:29, KJV).
We thank Almighty God who came down in our midst on 30 December 1992, when our brother Peter preached the message Holy Ghost, and The Necessity for Holy Ghost Baptism, before many witnesses when we saw the power of God restoring the Church back to Pentecost. We witnessed all that happened in the upper room at Jerusalem on the Pentecost day-God's power backing His word with diverse supernatural and scriptural occurrences when the Pillar of Fire first fully arrived in our midst. The Lord God went further to convince us that He has sent a Saviour in our midst when He publicly commissioned His Servant and Apostle Peter Odoemena using the following words…. “I have anointed you with My Spirit; I have anointed you with My Power, speak My word, and fear them not for I will be with you…” From that time, God had never ceased to magnify the ministry of His servant before His elect until this day, which we cannot record all because of space in this compilation.
The photograph of the Pillar of Fire and Cloud was taken at the commandment of the Lord on April 7, 1996 to banish unbelief from the elect. It was on 30 March, 1996 that we were first told to come to Church with as many cameras as we could while coming for fellowship on the next Sunday, 7 April, 1996. We obeyed as in other times because cameras were forbidden to be brought into the Church before that time because we do not come to Church for a show-off or entertainment. When the films were developed and printed, we witnessed God revealing himself around His servant, our brother Peter Odoemena in the form of Thick Darkness, Pillar of Light or Fire, and Pillar of Clouds in the shape of a rainbow according to the scriptures. “And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the Tabernacle, the Cloudy Pillar descended and stood at the door of the Tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. And all the people saw the Cloudy Pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshiped, every man in his tent door” (Exo 33:9-10, KJV). “Then I saw another mighty Angel coming down from heaven, robbed in a Cloud, with a (Halo like a) rainbow on His head; His face was like the sun and His feet (legs) were like columns of fire. He had a little book (scroll) open in His hand. He set His right foot on the sea and His left foot on the land” (Rev. 10:1-2, AMP).
We know that signs and wonders are not enough evidence to confirm a man to be from God, because Satan can perform signs and wonders, yet we cannot deny true signs and wonders which God has wrought in our midst because of fear of impersonations and counterfeits. We know without original there is no counterfeit, without original there is no photocopy. Any man that is sent of God is not only known by signs and wonders but also the very word of God which he speaks.
We really thank Almighty God who has given us such a privilege to be partakers of His move in our day, to have a man from God whom we can look up to. All praise and adoration be unto Almighty God for all His manifold blessings and grace given to us His saints to work with His own servant in our day.
